What can I say? This is how this one rolls! He is old enough to not want attention extended in his direction...but rather be left alone. He does know how to cause a scene, and might I add, he does it quite well! He pushes his limits, he can be louder than necessary...and quite often. He tries to push dad's buttons as often as possible, and always has a little smirk when doing so. He started getting Straight A's this year in school and loves his music. Oh, and did I mention, the two of these boys together makes mom want to pull every last strand of her hair out on most days :)
My Little Man! He is our sweet and compassionate child! His heart is always in line for making other people happy! He will be the first to go out on a limb for someone else! He is very outgoing and loves to talk to people! In fact, the more people he can strike up a conversation with, the better! He is definitely all about his mom and loves to "Snuggle." I have been directing him to not ever leave the coop! His personality and his heart warm me from the inside out!
I earned an Associates Degree in Business a few years back. I know....I know, I am asking myself the same thing, "What does one do with a Business Degree?" Your answer...keep going to school because you won't gain anything with this degree!
I have co-owned three businesses, which were great in their own way, and I am very appreciative for the opportunity for each, as well as the fact that these businesses fed our family. Between businesses. I developed a desire to have something that was just, "Me." I was a Scrapbook fanatic, making books for each of our (immediate) family members, and separate books for holidays, vacations, etc. OUT OF CONTROL! Because I dedicated so much time to Scrapbooks, I decided (little did I know) that I would like to own a Camera that would give me "nice" pictures to insert into the picture books. My husband, being the "Me Pleaser" that he is, set out with me to find the camera that would accomplish this. I started taking pictures (this was a film camera), the first time I was able to review them, I was speechless. I had no idea a camera could provide such a difference in quality! Shortly after came the Digital Camera. Yes! I was even more so impressed than before! My love grew....but not for Scrapbooking, for Photography......LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I have never enjoyed anything as much as I enjoy freezing an unforgettable moment in time!

I just enjoy the simple things in life. I love the view of the World through a lens. If it's Dark Chocolate, I will fight you for it! If it's Popcorn, it's mine, no questions asked! My favorite food....anything my husband makes...he is an amazing cook! I won't be dressed fancy to take pictures, I will be dressed comfortably...don't judge! Hahaha...
I love capturing natural moments that will touch your heart every time you set eyes on that image!

I have learned to look at everything around me in a different light. I have such an appreciation for things I never had before! Even more than that, I have a passion for capturing the important, as well as the silly, things in life! You know what they say...time flies! This probably being one of the "truest" statements ever made! You never know what is going to change from day to day....what will become just a memory without notice, and how you will wish you would have something to remind you!
.....a grown child... what did he/ she they was two?
....does anyone remember that cake at "so-n-so's" third birthday party? Well, what we do remember is, it was amazing...at least we are almost positive it was the third birthday...
OR "My goodness, I will never forget how important graduation was for us and our daughter! By the way, why didn't we get some pictures so we could remember that time in her life!
Perhaps, "I am so thrilled that grandma and grandpa were able to visit ten years ago! It was so fun to have them here. I wish I could remember what we did while they were here."......and on and on......
I want to capture all of those moments for you!! No! It isn't always about a special occasion, many times it is simply about life! Life....because your son can't get enough of his toy airplanes, your daughter will not change out of her Ballet Outfit, every Fall the kids make trails in the leave around the yard and play tag or your toddler is in a discovery phase, your teenager never parts from his Skateboard, or you simply need some captured moments in time .....no matter what it is, I will accomplish it for you! That is what I do! Don't expect to have a session with me that is stuffy! I prefer to catch you in your most natural moments. You will often times hear me say, "Ignore the camera, I want you to carry on as if you were here just doing your thing." We will have fun, we will laugh, we will enjoy your session and we will make the most of it! These sessions are meant to be about who you are and reflecting your personality.....real life!
